Specialist re-entry services

Returning to the community after serving a long-term prison sentence can be daunting, challenging and with the right support, successful.

Our Specialist Re-entry Services (SRS) team provide pre-release and community reintegration support to men who have been incarcerated for life or indeterminate periods, or long sentences.

Services are tailored to the individual needs of each person we support, enabling people to identify and build the skills and confidence they need to live independently and reintegrate positively into the community.

SRS supports people with:

• Support with adapting to life in the community
• Financial counselling
• Employment, education and training
• Building community networks and re-establishing family relationships
• Transitional accommodation (if appropriate).
