Free energy coaching
Energy Ahead helps you take control of your energy use through free energy audits, coaching and workshops.
Uniting WA is a member of the Financial Wellbeing Collective (The FWC) – a collaboration of organisations across the Perth Metropolitan region offering help and advice to people experiencing financial hardship.
The FWC provides the Energy Ahead Program.
Your energy, in your control.
Life can be a lot sometimes, so Energy Ahead is here to help. The Energy Ahead team can support you to take control of your energy use and your electricity bills, so you can get ahead.
The program is free and available to Synergy residential customers who are experiencing financial hardship.
Household Energy Coaching
Energy coaching is a practical way for you to learn more about your household energy use and how you can make positive changes to reduce use and costs.
Energy Ahead Coaches can support you at home, over the phone or online – whatever works best for you.
How does it work?
You’ll receive a report with customised tips on how to reduce your household energy use along with providing you complimentary energy efficiency items to get you started.
In-home audits take about 2 hours and can be delivered Monday to Friday within business hours.
Energy Ahead Coaches can also provide virtual audits which require you to have an active internet connection and a mobile or tablet with a camera.
They can also provide shorter phone coaching sessions over one or two Synergy bill cycles.
Community Workshops
Energy Ahead runs community workshops to help you understand and manage your household energy use.
They provide practical energy saving tips that can help you reduce your electricity bills and get ahead.
