Hawaiian Themed Christmas Party for Uniting Participants

The Uniting team hosted a Hawaiian-themed Christmas party for Participants last week, with coconuts, floral wreath necklaces and grass skirts to set the mood.

Participants enjoyed a feast of hot dogs, meat pies, spring rolls, fruit, and doughnuts for dessert.  One keen partygoer even dressed up as Santa Claus and handed out a present to each Participant on behalf of the Uniting Team.

Everyone was excited to get their groove on, with lots of people getting up to dance or sing karaoke.  The hard part was deciding who was next on the mic!

The Christmas party provided a great opportunity for the people we support, many of who have been supported by us for decades, to re-connect with the friends they’ve made at other Uniting events.
