Go beyond the headlines

Have you ever wondered what it takes to find home after homelessness?

Well, it can look different for everyone.

‘The Path Home’ is an interactive photography exhibition that takes you beyond the headlines to reveal the unique paths that people take on their journey out of homelessness.

Featuring the stunning work of Jarrad Seng, this exhibition is also available digitally.

The exhibition showcases Seng’s evocative images, stories and videos of individuals offering a glimpse into their stories of resilience and hope.

How can you help pave the path home?

You and your team can get even closer to the cause by organising a team-building activity where you’ll learn the Recipe for Change.

What we need to help pave the path home

  • Greater investment in projects for groups who are most in need, like our pilot program for mums and bubs, The Together Program

  • A system with strong referral pathways where no one falls through the gaps

  • Funding to improve data collection leading to more valuable insights, better reporting and improved outcomes

  • Continued increases in funding for homelessness services from both the Western Australian Government and the Federal Government

Thank you

This exhibit could not be what it is without the strength and voices of each featured. We are so thankful they were willing to share their story in the interest of shedding more light on the critical issue of homelessness.

A profound thank you must also go to Jarrad Seng. As one of Australia’s most in-demand creatives, we’re still pinching ourselves over landing such a coveted photographer for this exhibition.

We knew immediately that he would create not just gorgeous photographs but also capture the unique human spirit behind each person featured.

“I was honoured to be given the chance to use photography meaningfully. I hope this exhibition helps shine a light on these often untold stories and the life-changing work being done in the sector.” – Jarrad Seng

We would also like to express our sincere gratitude to Michael Clark from Observation Studio, the videographer who captured the interviews you see here. Michael’s calm and collaborative approach made the entire video shoot a breeze.
